Kathryn Bigelow has been tapped to helm the Iraq-set action drama "The Hurt Locker," which follows the exploits of an elite bomb disposal unit. Forced to play a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse in the chaos of war, an elite Army bomb squad unit must come together in a city where everyone is a potential enemy and every object could be a deadly bomb. Bigelow co-wrote the film with war reporter Mark Boal, shooting begins in March.
